About the Wyoming Video Conferencing System (WVCS)
The WVCS has been in place since 1992. Since that time, the WVCS has been used extensively by Wyoming legislators, State agencies, private sector entities, the University of Wyoming and Community Colleges for meetings/conferences, interviews, depositions, distance education, and statewide training.

The Wyoming Video Conferencing System uses Tandberg video equipment. The systems include 42” flat panel LCD color monitors, a camera with zoom, tilt, and pan capability. The Tandberg equipment is non-PC-based and is controlled with a remote control.

What is Video Conferencing?
Compressed video teleconferencing technology provides live, interactive audio and visual communication between multiple sites. This enables people to communicate visually without traveling to a single location.

Who Can Access the Wyoming Video Conference System?
Educational entities (elementary, secondary, and higher education), government agencies, and qualified private sector entities have access to the Wyoming Video Conference System.

What is a qualified or sponsored private sector entity?
A private sector video customer becomes qualified simply by securing the sponsorship of a state government agency. State agencies accepting this assignment agree to act as the customer's scheduling sponsor by authorizing and signing the customer's request form. The video communications coordinator’s office is happy to assist private industry customers in identifying appropriate state agency sponsors. State agency sponsorship is provided as a courtesy. State agencies reserve the right to determine if and whom they will sponsor.

 Mon – Sat 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

 Exception: Rock Springs
 Mon – Fri 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
